Hawa Ali, also known as Eve, is a mother, wife and an active community member, particularly when it comes to organizing social justice. Hawa Ali, also known as Eve, is a mother, wife and an active community member, particularly when it comes to organizing social justice. Born in Djibouti, Eve speaks French, Somali, English and Arabic. When she moved to the U.S., she immediately took part of the Maine democracy process and power shifting by occupying a position as a canvasser at a local nonprofit. Along with her colleagues, Eve knocked on countless doors in different counties around Maine and celebrated the efforts after the first female Governor was elected in Maine. Eve is a real estate licensee, she also holds a bachelor's in human Language from the University of Djibouti and pursued a masters in Peace and International Relations in a private Jesuit Institute in Nairobi, Kenya.
