To the Douglass family: I am still numb and in shock over the news of Chris's death. I want to wish you my deepest sympathy during this time.Chris was a good friend to me and I will miss him greatly. I met Chris online through a running group. We communicated via email for quite awhile and then I had the wonderful chance to meet him in person during his journey from Maine to Phoenix. He came to stay with me in Albuquerque ...and the moment I met him it was like we had been friends forever. I have a large dog...Bullit and Chris being the dog lover he is bonded with Bullit immediately! We shared some conversation, laughs and I sent him on his way up to Denver. I was going through a very stressful time and Chris was so supportive of my endeavors. He was a great friend to all of us and someone I truly looked up to as he loved life. I recently moved to Denver and we were looking forward to sharing some running adventures. I am sad I won't be able to have those moments. My thoughts are with you and your family during this very sad time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Sincerely Molly
