Lisbon Falls Maine first day of kindergarten I got into a fight with Chris because I said Santa clause was fake and Chris assured me he was real we went round and round finally I think we agreed to disagree!After that we were joined at the hip if we were not out riding bikes or quads then we were more than likely playing army or building snow forts.Maybe it was back then we both got the itch to trek.We trekked all over followed the river found the "bear caves" and many other tight little spots that I will never forget.When it was to nasty to go outside we would just sit and play excite bike and super Mario all day.Spent many a hot summer day fishing in the pond with popcorn or swimming at the pool.Cris's Dad Mr.D would always trick us by the pool and get us to look at something in the water then push us in we could never get him back! Until with a bit of plotting early on a Sunday morning everybody was ready for church of course with our Sunday best on.Chris and I lured Mr.D out by the pool we told him something was stuck in the drain it worked perfect he got right to the edge and Chris pushed him face first he went in his Sunday best we laughed the whole way to church.From the helicopter rides to the classic cars and atvs I don't think I could have asked for a better friend growing up! I will never forget the day we became blood brothers I still have the scar we were sitting in our prefab army fort our old fort had been plowed over to make way for the new garage.As best friends we had are fair share of fights but like Chris said "if we do this we will be brothers forever"he sliced my thumb and I sliced his bleeding thumbs pressed together we made our oath best friends and brothers for life. He will be greatly missed the world is a lesser place without him.One of my favorite things about Chris is that no matter what situation or what kinda mood I was in after talking with him I always felt better and happier about life and just somehow knew everything was going to be alright.I could go on and on for pages and pages but I will end with this.
